Cookie policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains which cookies and browser local storage the ELDIGITAL AI Agent website and the chat window embedded on client sites use, and for what purpose.
What a cookie is
- A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser that lets a website remember information between pages and visits.
- Alongside cookies we also use browser local storage, which behaves similarly from a privacy perspective.
What we use
- Strictly necessary cookies: keeping you signed in to the management panel and securing requests to the server. The product cannot work without them.
- Local storage for chat functionality: an anonymous conversation ID and returning-visitor memory, so a conversation continues where it left off and you are not asked the same questions twice.
- Interface preferences: display language and whether the chat window is open or closed.
- Operational traffic-source information (UTM parameters) stored with a lead, so the business owner knows where the enquiry came from.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising cookies, do not sell data and do not build cross-site advertising profiles.
- If the client website hosting the chat runs additional analytics or advertising tools, those are the site owner's responsibility and governed by their own policy.
Managing and deleting cookies
- Every browser lets you delete or block cookies and local storage from its privacy settings.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in to the management panel and may reset the chat conversation on every page refresh.
